I own a functioning chat site, I own a domain name, and a valid email address. Can you please help me?

I don't see a problem with that. Perhaps you could inform us as to what your problem is?

What specific problem are you having?

As a sidenote, have you checked the pending networks list by chance? Or made sure you meet the criteria specified in the submit network page? If your network was submitted sucessfully, there is a hope that it will be listed in there.

I guess my problem is that I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm new at this. Maybe if I try to explain it'll make sense to ya'll.

I bought an IRC shell and had the chat site set up. The dns resolves to an IP addy. I got a free domain name that also resolves to the IP addy. However, the free domain name didn't include an email address.

So, I bought a domain name with an email addy, sufficient for the SearchIRC requirement. Now, not only can I not register the site, but, the new domain name isn't resolving to the IP addy.

I readily admit ignorance. I am so lost. Any help you can offer will be SO greatly appreciated.

Deanie, the domain name will not resolve automatically, it has to be pointed to the IP (your hosting company can do this for you) and then it will take a few hours to a few days to propagate across the systems and work for everyone.

After that, can I register the site on SearchIRC with no error? And bless you for responding.

Deanie, your network would have to meet all of the other criteria as well, but we certainly HOPE you are able to register without any further issues. :)

The free domain name that's directed toward the site IP addy is destiny.thruhere.net....the domain name I bought from GoDaddy is DestinyAdultChat. And, again, I thank you for responding.

I'm not clear on what the situation is.

Are you submitting your network with the IRC server of thruhere.net?

or are you entering irc.destinyadultchat.com?

And once you submit it, are you getting an error message? Are you receiving the email validation?
