| Just put a comment and/or link to go to the network's section on SearchIRC, and make announcements there. That way the network's latest updates are at the top rather than having to read all the way through a thread to the last post to get to the newest information. |

| I'm impressed - since the introduction of the new code to allow people to reply to their own topics, admins have started actually using it. Now if only there was a way to merge the topics created before the codechange.... |

not sure that would always be a good idea since in many cases it's likely that some networks simply posted the same thing or something close to simply "bump their thread". If you merge all those threads then users would have to wade through several posts saying the same thing to get to new news unless Mary's idea is put into play, which I think is a good one.. |
