SleisySoft IRC Network invites you to join us at irc.sleisysoft.net and become a part of a friendly network, and also invites users to register their channels on the network.
The SleisySoft IRC Network was founded on August 1, 2008, with the users and freedom in mind. SleisySoft is one of the very few IRC networks that has very few rules to limit the freedom of users, and a very friendly staff, with a zero tolerance staff abuse policy. SleisySoft caters to many different communities, from gamers, to religious, to families, entertainment, programmers, casual and hardcore chatters, and more.
SleisySoft believes in constitutional and freedom rights for everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, origin, disability, etc.. If it isn't illegal (copyrighted file sharing/warez, hacking, pornography, etc.), isn't hurting other users and/or channels, or the network itself (spamming, hate speech/hate channels, racism), then SleisySoft does not intervene with the daily activities of the users.
The network currently utilizes the ircu2.10.12.10 ircd, with the srvx 1.3.1 services. SleisySoft uses its very own HostServ to offer custom titles and fakehosts. When the website is completed, channel owners will be able to optionally have a free webpage on our website, which will give channel owners the ability to post news on their channel's webpage, have a staff (channel op) list, channel forums, java chat access, and much more. Also, the website will give users the ability to register accounts and channels and manage all of it through the website as well.
SleisySoft also allows user support channels (hosting company support channels, leagues, and organizations, etc) to apply for their very own HelpServ, with a name of their choice. SleisySoft will go out of its way as much as possible to accomodate for its users and channels, and provide as much help as possible.
Furthermore, SleisySoft intends to hold a monthly community meeting, where users will be able to voice their concerns, opinions, ideas/suggestions. SleisySoft will use this as a chance to also give updates on the network, plans, etc., and find out what the users think, or what they'd like to see happen. SleisySoft believes that its the users who run the network, giving them the right to develop the network how they want it, within reason of course. There are also intentions to hold monthly classes to teach users about the ircd and services that the network utilizes.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask/reply, or visit irc.sleisysoft.net !! |
