If you might be interested, please send a brief resume to tgp0916@ecu.edu

What's your defnition of "several"?

And why exactly is that an issue?

The way i think about it: if somebody really is only on a single network, especially on one of the Top 5, they're not going to be interested in joining a smaller one anyways.

I don't need to provide a definition of several. I think thats pretty straight forward.

And why is it an issue? Thats explained in the post if you would have read it. And more importantly because i said its an issue. Thats all the information you need. If my post conflicts with you which im assuming it does then you not need apply.

Thank You

I hope you 2 aren't going to bicker every day...

[EDIT: After conferring with jason, it's been agreed that if there's one more petty namecall or publishing of personally identifiable information (aka: IP addresses, host names, et cetera) that bans will be the next step - first and last warning]

I'm not looking to start the bickering up again here, only want to give some insight into possible reasons for Hollyw00d not wanting to accept anyone who is on several networks. One reason is possibly because if you are on say 10-15 networks, you wouldn't really be dedicated to your duties on WildIRC, as you'd have those 10-15 other networks to also focus on at the same time. Unless you're a godlike multi tasker, its impossible.

For a volunteer based position, I do agree that it is rather a bad idea to restrict volunteers from being on several networks if they so choose. To be honest, there really is no way of finding out if they really are on several or not. But in the same sense, I can see on the same level here as Hollyw00d. I would want my staff to be dedicated and loyal to the network.

As for the definition of several, I would probably say anything more than 5 or 6..
